This is a hands-on class that will teach you how to set up a non-profit organization, how to obtain clients, and show you step by step how to fill out paperwork.  It will also teach you key terminology relating to the world of non-profit.  You will receive support with your first client.  You will also receive materials to help you set up your non-profit consulting services firm. Partner with accounting firms and law firms to provide services to their clients.

Class Activities: The class includes completion of state and federal application forms.  Participants will receive pc disks with bylaws, state articles for incorporation.

Instructor: The instructor has well over 12 years of experience in not-for-profit formation and development.  Instructor’s background, Ms. Poplar has a Master of Art in Legal, Ethical & Historical Studies, Bachelor of Art in Government & Public Policy, and A.A. in Human Service.
